It wasn’t too long ago that all the movie world was abuzz that Emma Watson would be leaving the Harry Potter film franchise. The story was, she didn’t want to be known as “that girl from Harry Potter” forever, and wanted to take on other roles to advance her career. Even her co-star, Rupert Grint, was quoted as saying “Emma doesn’t want to do it any more. She’s tired of being known as ‘that girl from Harry Potter.”
But it seems as though Emma Watson may have had a change of heart, or that the rumors were entirely off-base in the first place. Whatever the case may be, Harry Potter fans will be pleased to know that Miss Watson herself has confirmed that she will indeed be back as Harry’s best female friend, Hermoine, for the next Harry Potter film.
“I definitely intend to do (another Harry Potter movie). I would do Harry Potter for nothing. It’s not really anything to do with the money,” said Watson in retaliation.
