Aamir to shoot in red light area….

Aamir Khan stayed indoor in a spooky house for a month in downtown Mumbai for wife Kiran Rao’s film Dhobi Ghat. Now, we hear he’s demanded to shoot Reema Kagti’s film, he recently signed, in Mumbai’s red light area.

The yet-untitled movie has Aamir playing a police officer who penetrates the red-light area while working on a case.

A sucker for perfection that he is, Aamir reportedly wants his portions in the film to be shot on actual locations, with real sex workers and pimps.

But director Reema Kagti and co-producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have their apprehensions over Aamir’s demand as such a move might pose security threat to not just the actors but the entire film crew.

The movie also stars Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor. One of the two ladies plays a sex worker.

Since Aamir signs films very selectively, we’re sure Kagti must be having a killer script on her hands.

Aamir Khan Onscreen romance with director wife Kiran Rao

Latest Hottest High Resolutions Quality Wallpapers Pics Photoshoot Scenes by Actor Aamir Khan

As per Latest Aamir Khan Interviews, she said that, “She was reading Yasmin so well that I tried to coax her to do the role. But ziddi hai ladki (the girl is stubborn), she wouldn’t agree. Eventually, Kriti (Malhotra) played the part beautifully. But it would have been fun to romance Kiran on screen. I don’t think there were any similarities”

“Reena and I had run away together and got married in the courtroom. I had a civil registered marriage with Kiran too, but after that, we went off to Panchgani for a four-day ‘personalized’ wedding. The New Year revelry stretched to a marriage and a honeymoon that involved around 200 family and close friends. And the honeymoon continues.”

“When I married Reena, I was only 21 and not really ready for marriage. And with Kiran, it was a second marriage and both of us were sensitive to that fact. Imran Khan and Avantika have been together for eight years now. They are mature, strong individuals with minds of their own and were ready for a commitment. That’s how it should be.”

“It’s an exciting script and brings me back with my 3 Idiots heroine, Kareena (Kapoor) and Rani (Mukherji) with whom I’ve done Ghulam and Mangal Panday.”

As per Latest Bollywood Interviews, Kiran Rao said that, “Never say never but I have no intentions of facing the camera at the moment even though I was into dramatics when in school and college.”

“Aamir is the one who’ll start work on a new film soon.”

“They caught trains between 7 and 7.30. Half an hour later, Ajmal Kasab entered the station and began spraying bullets everywhere. We could have lost some friends. I’ll never forget that.”

Aamir Khan to turn singer for ‘Dhoom 3’

Perfectionist Aamir Khan is all set to lend his voice for upcoming Yashraj film ‘Dhoom 3’. The talented actor, who is playing a negative role in the sequel to ‘Dhoom 2’, has agreed to sing the theme song which will be picturised on him. The last time Aamir sang for a film was the chartbuster ‘Aati Kya Khandala’ for Jatin-Lalit in Ghulam, Zee News reported.

Composer Pritam Chakraborty has set aside all his assignments from June to fully focus on the music of ‘Dhoom 3’. The over-committed music composer with a hit record for the last three years has been asked to concentrate only on the music of ‘Dhoom 3’ from June onwards by producer Aditya Chopra. He would have to complete all his pending assignments and make himself completely free for the YRF film.

Sources in the industry have claimed that the music composer, who has composed music for ‘Dhoom’ and ‘Dhoom2’ in the past, had a closed-door meeting with Aditya Chopra at the Yashraj office where the producer stressed on creating a new sound for ‘Dhoom 3’ including a signature tune for Aamir`s character. The composer has been asked to come with a unique tune which would make the audience sit up and jump out of their seats every time Aamir came on screen. daily times monitor

Iran vs Hungary in race for top Berlin film prize

It looks like a two-horse race for the Berlin film festival’s top Golden Bear award, with the moving Iranian drama “Nader and Simin: A Separation” neck-and-neck with dark Hungarian tale “The Turin Horse”.

Critics at the annual film festival have put the two pictures way out in front of the pack as the 10-day festival, called the Berlinale, approaches the closing ceremony on Saturday evening when the prizes are handed out.

What the reviews say and judges decide often differ, however, making it an unpredictable event with many surprises in recent years. And four competition films of the 16 in contention for awards have yet to screen.

But as of Thursday, Nader and Simin appeared the film to beat, not only for its acclaimed exploration of Iran’s class divide and religious traditions but also because it fits neatly with what some German media have dubbed the “Iranian Berlinale”.
