Kangana was born in the Hindi-speaking Ranaut family on 20 March 1987 in Bhambla, near Manali, which is in the Mandi district in the State of Himachal Pradesh, India. Her dad's name is Amardeep, who is a businessman and contractor, her mom, Asha, is a school-teacher. She has two sisters, eldest one is Rangoli, and she has a brother, Akshit, who is about a year younger than her. Her grandfather was an IAS Officer. Kangana spent her childhood in Dehra Dun and studied in DAV's High School where she participated in many debates, Elocutions, and was a basket-ball player.

After completing her schooling, she attended Science College in Simla. She was enrolled in the Elite School of Modeling, and also tried some theater acting in Delhi and was a member of the Smita Theater Group under Arvind Gaur. She is also a trained Kathak dancer, and is learning to sing from Amitabh Chakraborty.

Kangna Ranaut Is Pissed Off

Kangna Ranaut is truly irked with the mischief creators buzzing the mediavine. Reportedly, the actress is hopping mad with all the stories doing the rounds as regards her allegedly rotten behaviour. The actress and her PR have been steadily carping to the scribe tribe that a certain clutch of people from the industry are constantly slandering Kangna.
In fact, Kangna’s PR executive has taken matters a step forward and has threatened legal action against periodicals that delight in supporting negative buzz over Ranaut.
Earlier, Kangy told an eager media that she shared “terrific chemistry, both on and off screen” with a topline hero, who’s now ready to burst a blood vessel the instant her name is mentioned. That apart, there is talk that Kangna allegedly ill treated a staffer of hers and her attitude on the sets of a recent TV dance reality show did little to buoy her dwindling image.
A close source states that KG behaved “strangely” and that she dozed off to Slumberland backstage and later, refused to reel off her bytes to a comment hungry media. Most journos feel that rather than threatening the media… it would be better if Kangy checked her errant behaviour too.

It has organized a grand fashion preview  where top models like Navnit Sharma(Winner of Grasim .India 2005 ( . Physique), Jatin, Jyoti Popli, Ishita Modgil, Anuradha Sharma and many more rocked the stage. The Preview was choreographed by ace choreographer . Vijay Roy. The preview was inspired from the movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. Students styled their creation on the theme ‘The Desi Style’. Models were looking elegant in these outfits. The accessories, that were most appreciated were the earrings. Models wore lovely Indian earrings, from hoops to jhumkas to jadaus. These were paired with lots of bangles. The hair style was too prompt with the theme. The garments previewed were beautifully executed and covered wide arena of imagination. The Fashion Preview has all the glitz and galore one could ever imagine. In this movie Kangana Ranaut is mostly dressed in kurta-salwars, wearing the small town clothes and also sporting low-backed kurtas and blouses as the indication of her boldness. Kangana & Madhwan were impressed by the student’s talent.  Kangana was amazed by student’s creativity. She said that the students have really picked the theme well. Kangna Ranaut’s Breast Tattoo In ‘Tanu Weds Manu’

The vivacious actress Kangna Ranaut is still single and ready to mingle! We are only talking about a temporary tattoo for the actress’ latest film Tanu Weds Manu. In the required scene, the actress pulls down her kurta to display tattooed name of her boyfriend on the upper part of her breast,reports our source.
The tattoo is done in henna, and the actress had to get it done over and over again till the scene was completely shot.
A source told, “Initially, Kangna was amused at the scene but had no qualms in doing it. She had to perform this shot to avoid getting married to her co-star in the film. Her parents want her to go for an arranged marriage in the film and she tries all ways possible to scandalise Madhavan.”

Kangana Rides Bullet Bike for Tanu Weds Manu

Bollywood Bold Actress Kangana Ranaut tried her hand in riding a heavy metal Bullet which other wise only a robust man can handle.

This was during the shooting for Tanu Weds Manu, Kangana Ranaut plays a small town girl who defies every stereotype attached to girls – like they shouldn’t smoke, drink, or drive. The movie also stars Madhavan,

Director Anand L Rai says in his statement: “Since Kangana Ranaut plays a small town wild girl, we wanted her to do all those things that a typical small town girl would not think of doing. So, riding a bike was something that would have helped strengthen Tanu’s character, so we bounced off the idea of Tanu riding a bike to Kangana and she was thrilled to do it.”

However, the stunt turned out to be easier said than done because Kangana found out that she had to drive the heavy Bullet bike through narrow, crowded lanes, and that too with one person sitting pillion.

What was feared happened and Kangana Ranaut fell down from the bike while shooting in Punjab last year. She sustained a foot injury and had to take a few days’ break to fully recover, leading to the cancellation of the film’s shoot and a hole worth Rs. 1.5 crore in the producer’s pocket.
