Craig Gillespie dumps Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
is now director-less for the third time. Maybe it's time to admit folk are just not that into you...
There are troubled productions, very troubled productions, and then there’s Lionsgate’s Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Only the ill-fated The Crow remake, which has been dumped more times than , can match the adaptation in terms of losing directors. Apologies for the stab at Aniston there, that was unnecessary. We must be overtired.

, he of this summer’s Fright Night, is the latest director to exit the one-gag-stretched-way-too-thin project, having replaced Mike White, who was there to replace David O. Russell (and Jacob begat Solomon, and Solomon begat Roboam etc. etc.)
Deadline reports the split was amicable, and revolved around casting issues. Let’s remember that Emma Stone, Blake Lively and Natalie Portman have all reportedly been offered, and turned down the lead. What could be the problem? We have an idea. Maybe they read it.
